Welcome!

“Come
and See,” my friend! “Come
and see!”
I
would like to welcome you to this cyber look into New Life in Christ Lutheran
congregation. You may find it
strange for me to call you, “my friend” because we may never have met.
What makes us friends is not that we know each other, but that we are
both known by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and we are both called to live in
fellowship with him and with each other. Christ
knows us, loves us, and cherishes us even before we know Him.
Many
years ago some very insightful people named this congregation New Life in Christ
Lutheran and chose the butterfly as our symbol.
Their vision, which we share, invites you to “Come & See” how the
new opportunities we have in Jesus Christ can make your life richer and more
meaningful. As Christ’s disciple, we are to “Learn & Rejoice” as we
mature in our understanding of God’s word and His promise to deepen our
relationship with him. Our faith
requires us to respond to God’s love and to see the beauty and the
potential God sees in us. We feel
compelled to “Go & Tell” others about the “New Life In Christ” that
has found and claimed us. This
transformation to New Life is symbolized in the metamorphous of a caterpillar
into a beautiful butterfly.
New
Life in Christ congregation is committed to helping people transform their lives
through the study of God’s word, to inviting people to experience a rewarding
relationship with their Lord, Jesus Christ, and to experience the joy that comes to us as we worship God which will help us to
put life into perspective.
Christ has a beautiful ministry and life planned for each of us.
We just need to nurture our ability to see and develop it.
New
Life in Christ Congregation strives to be the place where all of us and our
families will cherish coming for fellowship, support and enrichment of the
beautiful New Life we share in Christ.
Hopefully
the pages of this web site will encourage you to:
Come
and See,
Learn
and Rejoice,
Go
and Tell.
Come worship with us this Sunday!
Blessings
in the Name of Our Mutual Friend, Jesus the Christ,
Pastor
