Temporary Privacy Intent Statement

 We are making no attempt to gather personal identifier information as people visit our web site.  If someone chooses to join an e-mail list, that list will only be used for the purpose of support the ministry of New Life In Christ.  The e-mail lists shall not be used for commercial purposes.

 Content developed strictly for the web site will not contain person’s full name or personal identifiers unless permission is obtained or unless the information is being used in that person’s professional capacity and then business identifiers (address, phone, etc.) are used.  We will refer to congregational members by their first name and last initial (Herb D.).  For documents that are produced as primary paper documents that are included on the web site without major modification.  If telephone numbers are included in the paper document, they will be included on the web site versions.

 In a practical sense we are talking about the monthly Witness and weekly Sunday Bulletins being put on the web site right now.  If you are including telephone numbers in these documents, it is assumed that these are not in the telephone directory and thus need to be included.  The author of the article is responsible for getting permission to use personal identifiers (telephone #, address, e-mail address, etc.) in the articles submitted.

 Our current site is not secure. Membership directory and detailed financial records will not be on the site.  Brief financial announcements in the Witness and Sunday Bulletin will be included.
