DevotionalsIn every time and place people write about their life experiences and how they see God as a part of those experiences. Some call it inspirational writing and others would call it inspired writing. Like all writing when it is done well it tells us something about who we are and the time in which we live. What is it that is important to us? How do we feel? How should we act and behave? We often learn that we are not alone is the way we feel or see our world ... And that is comforting and reassuring. Some of these are stories. It is often unclear if these are true stores or not. And in a sense it does not matter. They are really talking about statements of faith and not of points of fact. In many cases you will see biblical topics restated in a current settings. Essentially they say that God is touching my life daily. God was alive and well in biblical times; He is still loose in His world today! If you read something that touches you, send it to me.
